- Texts or images analyzed
- Your personal data such as name, email or location
- No results from OCR, facial recognition, visual recognition or LLM processing

Apple may collect anonymous information such as:
- App usage frequency
- Bug reports
- Technical performance data
These data are processed according to Apple's privacy policy. CaptainShot does not have access to them in an identifiable form.
How Apple uses these data
They are only used to:
- Improve app stability
- Fix bugs
- Optimize the user experience
Data sharing
CaptainShot does not share, sell or trade any personal data.
Aggregated data provided by Apple are not shared.
Data retention
Because we do not collect data, no personal data is retained by CaptainShot.
Optional iCloud backup
You can enable backup of your metadata such as collections and preferences through iCloud.
Screenshots are never included in that backup.
CaptainShot has no access to your iCloud.
iCloud data management is exclusively Apple's responsibility.
